Alexis Wajsbrot[1] is the co-director of short film Red Balloon,[2][3][4][5] a 13 minutes thriller shoot with Red Cam (including visual effects) In 2010 he won the Directorial Discovery Award at the Rhode Island Film Festival[6][7] and 25 selections in others (including Festival international de Clermont-Ferrand,[8][9]Palm Springs International ShortFest, Festival International Du Film Fantastique de Gerardmer, and Festival de Cannes Short Film Corner).

He also has a successful career in the film industry[10] creating visual effects for a leading London facility[11] and has worked on a long list of award winning blockbuster movies,[12] including Prince of Persia,[13] G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street and Your Highness. He is currently Lead FX at Framestore UK on Alfonso Cuarón's movie Gravity...

He is working in parallel as a director on various feature film projects.[14] Alexis Wajsbrot is now represented by Premiere Heure as commercial's director. He is represented in Los Angeles by manager Brooklyn Weaver from Energy Entertainment and agents Ramses Ishak, Michael Sheresky and Scott Carr from United Talent Agency
